Hayward

We are having a free movie screening of the award-winning popular Christian film War Room at 7:30 p.m.  The movie centers on the power of prayer even in our toughes moments.  The movie is appropriate for all ages.

We are having a youth event this Saturday March 14th at 12:30.  Lunch will be provided and we will be making different items to be given to the community.  Come and enjoy an afternoon of fun.

March 21, we had an evening movie at 7:30.  They played a quick game just before the movie and had popcorn and refreshments to go along with the movie.  The next youth event is scheduled for April 6, which will be a game day and then on April 25 there will be another movie night.

February 1, we had an afternoon movie at the church building, refreshments and popcorn were provided.

On December 22, in the afternoon the youth all went bowling at Riverside Lanes.  Everyone had a great afternoon.

Our youth group met on October 19th and had pizza.  Different games were played and they went on a scavenger hunt.  They watched a short video on sanctification- some things just don't mix well, especially sin and Christianity.  1 John 3:6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him.

June 23-26, 2013, Campbell Street church of Christ came to Hayward and put on a day camp for the youth.  The theme was the Amazing Race, getting to Heaven.  The youth described it as really fun, exciting and adventurist.  There was many activities which included, scavanger hunts, woodworking, pottery, photography, archery, art, cooking, skits, outdoor games, and enjoyed a day canoeing.  They learned about Gidean, Saul - Paul, about trusting God and if we have a bad start w...

On May 26,2013, the youth got together in the afternoon and played games and had pizza.  We watched a short movie on Substituion by hashtagyouthseries.com, Scott Utter talked about Jesus Christ as our perfect, loving, and sacrificial substitute.

On March 10, 2013 we got together for some indoor and outdoor fun.  Some played games inside, while others went sliding outside.  And even some went snowmobiling.  There were some birthdays that were celebrated.  We had pizza, chips, and cake.
